April showers, rainbow towers over the sky so bright A pot of gold at the end we’re told, a magical delight Children sing the song of colours skipping as they go How lucky we have been to be able to watch them grow But like the magical rainbow that sadly fades away Our precious little ones are not always here to stay I will find my pot of gold one day at the rainbow’s end It’s where you will be my love and my heart you will mend
